Androsace vitaliana subsp. nevadensis
Este vegetal es un muy escaso endemismo de puntual locacalización de las cumbres nevadenses, que sirve de exclusiva planta nutricia a la también endémica mariposa Agriades zullichi. En la imagen, ejemplar de una de las siete poblaciones que descubrí a finales del siglo XX en la cabecera del río Genil y que albergan dicho licénido; al fondo, La Alcazaba, de 3.371 m de altitud (junio 2013).This plant is a very rare endemic species found in the Sierra Nevada summits, and is the exclusive food plant for the also endemic Agriades zullichi butterfly.
