Mojón de Trigo
Enclavado e 2.606 m entre los valles del San Juan y del Monachil, este observatorio astronómico fue construido entre 1965 y 1969 por iniciativa de la Orden de los Jesuitas, quedando anticuado ya en 1981, año en el que se inaugura a mayor altitud el nuevo Observatorio de Sierra Nevada, localizado en el valle del Dílar a 2.885 m y dirigido por el Instituto de Astrofísica de Andalucía.
