Resiliencia en la Baja Montaña
Las arenas dolomíticas ricas en magnesio de la Baja Montaña nevadense son un medio altamente selectivo para los vegetales que las colonizan. De hecho, muchos de ellos se han especiado dando lugar a taxones exclusivas de estas litologías tan particulares. En la imagen, un pino negral o resinero (Pinus pinaster), que presenta masas naturales en estos blanquizales dolomíticos (mayo 2013). The magnesium-rich dolomitic sands of the Baja Montaña (lowest altitude area of ??the mountain range) are a highly selective environment for the plants that colonize them. In fact, many of them have become speciated, giving rise to taxa exclusive to these very particular lithologies.
